First Edition Collectible Books
First editions will virtually always be the most value edition of any book. There may be more than one printing within a first edition, and the first edition first printing is the most valuable.
It may take some research to determine what the "points" are for a first edition. In newer books, the edition is given on a number line on the printing information page (the lowest printed number is the edition).
On older books, there will be different identifiers. For example, in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, there are identifying elements such as the description of the Oompa Loompas or the number of lines of printing on the colophon (last page).
