Yes, this book has the "bite" for "bight" on page 281 that people still incorrectly cite as a point for the first state of this book. However, that is incorrect since ALL of the 1st printings have that error and even a large number of the later printings and reprints by other publishers have that so-called "point". This book has a first state DJ with no reviews on the back panel-just a Steinbeck photo(see scan).
